1. Who we are
Aite Management is a platform for managing projects, clients, teams, tasks, and related business financial information. The service is provided and operated by Aite Management. This policy explains how data is handled when you use the Aite website or the Aite mobile app.
2. Data we process
- Account and contact data, such as your name, email address, phone number, work role, and profile image when provided.
- Business data entered by you or your organization, such as projects, clients, tasks, team members, costs, collections, files, and notes.
- Security and session data, such as IP address, device type, sign-in times, authentication logs, and tokens required to maintain your session.
- Support information you provide when contacting us, including your issue description and any optional screenshots.
3. How we use data
- To create accounts and provide project, team, and financial management features.
- To authenticate access, protect accounts, and identify unauthorized use.
- To display data to authorized users within the same organization according to their permissions.
- To provide technical support, fix errors, and improve service reliability.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect users and the service when necessary.
4. Legal bases and organizational control
We process data to provide the requested service, perform our contractual obligations, secure the service, and comply with applicable law. When an organization provides your account, it may control the business data and determine users, permissions, and retention periods.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising. We may rely on hosting, database, and cloud infrastructure providers to operate Aite. They may process data only as needed to provide services to us. We may also disclose data when legally required or when necessary to protect rights and security.
6. International transfers
Data may be stored or processed in countries where our service providers operate infrastructure. When data is transferred internationally, we take appropriate measures designed to protect it in accordance with applicable law.
7. Retention
We retain data while an account or organization subscription remains active and as needed to provide the service. We then delete or anonymize it when it is no longer required, unless longer retention is necessary for backups, security, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational controls, including encrypted connections, access controls, and session security. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
9. Your rights and account deletion
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, or object to certain processing. To delete your account and its data, contact us through the support page using your registered contact information so we can verify your identity. Your organization may need to approve a request involving an organization-managed account, and limited information may be retained when legally required.
10. Children
Aite is a professional service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our service or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here with a revised date. For privacy questions or requests, use our official support page.
